What You’ll Need

Here is what you’ll need to make this strawberry yogurt smoothie:

Ingredients to make strawberry yogurt smoothie.
  • Strawberries: This star ingredient gives this smoothie that pink color and a fruity taste. Try to find strawberries that are juicy and ripe for the best natural sweetness.
  • Yogurt: I used full-fat plain whole milk Greek yogurt for this recipe for added protein, but any type of yogurt will work.
  • Milk: I used whole milk in this recipe, but dairy-free alternatives work as well.
  • Maple Syrup: For added sweetness.
  • Vanilla Extract: For added flavor and to bring out the sweetness of the smoothie flavors.
  • Ice: To thicken the smoothie.

See the recipe card below for full information on ingredients and quantities.

Ingredient Substitutions & Additions

  • Yogurt: Swap Greek yogurt for dairy-free yogurt like coconut-milk yogurt.
  • Milk: You may substitute the milk with any dairy-free alternative such as oat milk or coconut milk.
  • Maple Syrup: The maple syrup may be replaced with honey (if serving to little ones under the age of 1).

Storage Instructions

This strawberry yogurt smoothie is best enjoyed fresh, but you can store it in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 month. When ready to serve, you can thaw it overnight in the fridge or let it thaw out at room temperature for a few hours. When you are ready to drink it, just give it a quick shake! You can also store the smoothie in an ice cube tray, freeze the cubes in an airtight container, and blend a few cubes with a little splash of milk once you are ready to drink it!
