What You’ll Need
Here is what you’ll need to make these chicken nuggets wraps:

- Tortillas: Soft flour tortillas work great, but whole wheat or gluten-free options are fine too.
- Chicken Nuggets: I love using frozen chicken nuggets to keep things easy! The Just Bare brand chicken nuggets are my personal favorite, but you could use any variety you have on hand. You could also use homemade chicken nuggets.
- Shredded Cheese: For added flavor! Cheddar and mozzarella are great options.
- Spinach/Lettuce: Adds crunch and freshness.
- Honey Mustard: For a touch of added sweetness and flavor to the wraps.
See the recipe card below for full information on ingredients and quantities.
Ingredient Substitutions & Additions
- Chicken Nuggets: You can swap these with grilled chicken strips, turkey nuggets, or even plant-based nuggets for a vegetarian option.
- Cheese: Leave it out for dairy-free or use a dairy-free alternative.
Step-by-Step Instructions

STEP 1: Reheat the chicken nuggets according to package directions. I love using the Just Bare brand chicken nuggets and air frying them for 10-12 minutes. Dice the chicken nuggets into small pieces if they are large. (Images 1 & 2).
STEP 2: Place a tortilla on a flat surface. Place the chopped nuggets, cheddar, and lettuce to one end of the tortilla. Drizzle the honey mustard dressing on top. (Images 3 & 4).

STEP 3: Tightly roll the tortilla into a log. Once you get to the edge, add a little extra cheddar to the end. (Images 5 & 6).
STEP 4: Heat a medium skillet over medium-low heat and place the tortilla log in the pan, seam side down. Allow the rollup to heat up just until the cheese at the seam melts. Doing this will serve as a “glue” to help prevent the rollup from unraveling. (Image 7).
STEP 5: Place the tortilla rollup on a cutting board and slice it into two large sections or into pieces that are about 1 inch thick. (Image 8).
Storage Instructions
Assemble wraps without sauce for best texture and store in an airtight container for up to 1 1 day. If preparing for a lunchbox, omit the sauce from the wrap and place it on the side for your little one to dip into instead.

Tips For Success
- Don’t overfill your wraps. Overfilling will make it more difficult to roll up and messier.
- Try your best to roll the tortilla up as tightly as you can. The tighter you roll them, the better the fillings will stay inside the wrap.
- If you are packing these wraps for a lunchbox, omit the honey mustard in the wrap to prevent it from getting soggy, and pack it either in a dip compartment of a lunchbox or in mini squeeze bottles.
- I love using the Applegate brand frozen chicken nuggets, but you can use your favorite brand or make your own homemade chicken nuggets. These homemade dino nuggets and easy chicken nuggets with veggies would work well in these wraps.
