When you’re in the mood for some pizza and don’t feel like turning on the stove, these mini naan pizzas are the perfect easy meal! I love using mini naan dippers since their small size is great for little hands, but this works with any size naan that can fit in your air fryer. Pair it with a side of veggies for your little ones or with a salad for the big bellies!

What You’ll Need

Here is what you’ll need to make this air fryer naan pizza:

Ingredients to make air fryer naan pizza.
  • Naan: I like to use mini naan dippers since they’re small in size and perfect for little hands, but any small-sized naan bread will work.
  • Mozzarella: For that classic cheesy taste. Feel free to swap it out with your favorite shredded cheese.
  • Pizza Sauce: My favorite sauce to use is this 365 brand, but any pizza brand will work!
  • Toppings: I love to use veggies as toppings like riced broccoli, chopped spinach, and corn, but feel free to use any of your favorites! Pepperoni is a classic and diced tomatoes, leftover chicken, and red onions are great options as well.

See the recipe card below for full information on ingredients and quantities.

Recipe Substitutions & Additions

  • Pizza Sauce: You can substitute the pizza sauce with marinara sauce. I don’t recommend using something like pure tomato paste because it is very concentrated with little flavor.
  • Mozzarella: For a dairy-free version, replace the mozzarella cheese with dairy-free shreds.

Step By Step Instructions

Steps to make air fryer naan pizza.

STEP 1: Place the naan dippers on the air fryer basket (or air-fryer-safe parchment liner) in an even layer so that they do not overlap (Image 1). I love using air fryer liners so that cheese doesn’t fall into the air fryer basket.

STEP 2: Spoon 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce evenly on each naan dipper (Image 2).

STEP 3: Sprinkle 1 to 2 tablespoons of mozzarella cheese on top of each piece of naan (Image 3). Top with toppings of choice (Image 4).

STEP 4: Air fry the mini naan pizzas at 400 degrees F for 4 to 5 minutes, or until the cheesy is lightly brown and bubbly (Images 5 & 6). Let the naan pizzas cool completely before serving.

Storage Instructions

These naan pizzas are best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place them in the air fryer at the air fryer setting until warmed through.

Tips For Success

  • If you prefer a crispier crust, air fry the naan dippers for 2 to 3 minutes before adding on the sauce and cheese. Then add the pizza sauce, cheese, and topping, and air fry for an additional 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Do not place too many toppings on top of the pizza so that they stay in place when cooking.
  • If you can’t find naan dippers, you can use naan rounds or any type of naan bread that will fit in your air fryer! You may need to adjust the cooking time for larger pieces.

This recipe was great inspiration for my remix! I topped the naan bread with avocado oil spray, garlic powder, oregano, nutritional yeast, cheddar cheese shreds, and super thin tomato slices. It was delish. My 18mo old only took a few bites but we will definitely try it again!

  4. Maya says:

Hi there! Absolutely love your recipes! May I ask which brand naan dippers you use? All the ones I see seem to contain a lot of sodium for babyโ€™s
    Thank you! ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Lily Payen says:

Hi Maya! I usually use the Stonefire brand naan dippers. It is a little higher in sodium, but I usually offer in moderation and try to keep other high sodium foods limited throughout the day for a baby. You could also try swapping it out with a tortilla as well๐Ÿ˜Š

  5. Mindy says:

Love love love this site and appreciate the diet-specific recipes, but dislike that this is filed under egg-freeโ€ฆ. While naan doesnโ€™t contain egg, it says โ€œMay contain: eggs and soyโ€ which can be dangerous for a tiny human with an egg allergy.

Obviously itโ€™s on the parents to check what they are feeding, but I still donโ€™t think this should be labeled as egg free.

    1. Lily Payen says:

Hi Mindy! I didn’t realize that naan dippers have that disclosure on the label, I’ll update the category to reflect this! Thank you for bringing it to my attention!
