Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk whole, or dairy-free alternative
  • 4 Medjool dates
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Pit the dates. If your dates are hard, soak them in warm water for 10 minutes, or until softened.
  • Add the dates, milk, and ground cinnamon to a high-powered blender and blend on high until smooth and the dates have completely broken down. Taste the milk and adjust the taste as needed. If you prefer less sweetness, add more milk. If you prefer a sweeter milk, add in an extra date.
  • Pour the blended mixture through a fine sieve to ensure it is completely smooth. Pour into mini bottles or a large bottle.
  • Serve chilled over ice or warm gently on stovetop or in microwave.

Notes

  • Use soft dates (Medjool) for caramel-like sweetness.
  • If your blender struggles, soak dates first since it makes blending smoother.
  • Adjust consistency: Add more milk for a thinner drink, less for richer.
  • Customize with extra spices or nut butter based on your taste preference.
