Cottage Cheese Pizza

This kid-friendly cottage cheese pizza has a creamy, protein-packed crust with the perfect texture. Quick, customizable, and perfect for family pizza night!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese whole milk with 4% milkfat
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • toppings of choice

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Add the cottage cheese and eggs to a high-powered blender and blend until smooth.
  • Pour the blended cottage cheese mixture into a medium bowl along with the flour, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder, and mix until combined
  • Line a 9 by 13-inch baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the mixture evenly into a rectangle on the pan.
  • Bake the crust for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden and dry to the touch.
  • Spread the pizza sauce over the crust, leaving a border around the edges. Sprinkle with mozzarella and toppings of choice.
  • Return the pizza to the oven and bake for another 8–10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden. Top with grated parmesan cheese and a drizzle of hot honey, if desired. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Don't skip the parchment paper! Parchment paper lined on the baking sheet will prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.
  • Try your best to smooth out the cottage cheese mixture into an even layer so that it bakes through evenly in the oven. The crust may puff up a bit when it bakes, and this is normal.
  • If you prefer to skip the blending step, you can do so, just note that the crust texture will not be as smooth.
