Course: dinner, lunch
Cuisine: American
Servings: 4 people
- 1 lb fresh asparagus
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- salt to taste
Wash the asparagus and pat dry. Chop off the tough ends.
Coat the asparagus with oil, garlic powder and black pepper. Salt may be added after removing baby's portion.
Place the asparagus in the air fryer basket. Try to make sure that they do not overlap too much.
Cook the asparagus at 400 degrees F for 7 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. If you would like softer, more tender asparagus, add an extra 1-2 minutes.
- Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket. If the basket is too full, the asparagus will not cook evenly. I love this size and functionality of this ninja air fryer!
- I usually serve my little ones the tips of the asparagus since those are generally softer and easier to break down.
- After removing baby’s portion, toss the asparagus with a little salt to taste for everyone else!
