Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh asparagus
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Wash the asparagus and pat dry. Chop off the tough ends.
  • Coat the asparagus with oil, garlic powder and black pepper. Salt may be added after removing baby's portion.
  • Place the asparagus in the air fryer basket. Try to make sure that they do not overlap too much.
  • Cook the asparagus at 400 degrees F for 7 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. If you would like softer, more tender asparagus, add an extra 1-2 minutes.

Notes

  • Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket. If the basket is too full, the asparagus will not cook evenly. I love this size and functionality of this ninja air fryer!
  • I usually serve my little ones the tips of the asparagus since those are generally softer and easier to break down.
  • After removing baby’s portion, toss the asparagus with a little salt to taste for everyone else!
