Ingredients

Strawberry Banana Yogurt Melts

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 3-4 medium strawberries

Mango Banana Yogurt Melts

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 ripe banana
  • ½ ripe mango

Instructions

  • Blend the fruits into a puree and add this to a bowl.
  • Add in the Greek yogurt and fold it in gently until incorporated.
  • Pour the mixture into a piping bag or Ziploc bag with a small cut at the tip and pipe out small dime-sized circles onto a parchment paper-lined pan.
  • Freeze for at least 2 hours and serve!

Notes

  • This is a great snack for babies once they have developed the pincer grasp and are able to pick up small items with their index finger and thumb.
  • When serving, let the melts sit at room temperature for a couple of minutes just so they soften a little. This will ensure that they are not too cold/hard for babies, but they do melt naturally with natural heat from the tongue.
  • Do not leave these yogurt melts at room temperature for too long because they melt quickly! These are not an ideal snack for on the go.
  • You may also use frozen fruits which may help with the consistency of the mixture for piping!
  • I love using this nutribullet blender to blend the fruits into a smooth batter!
